Frequently asked questions

Do I need to give my name or contact details to see quotes?

To see quotes, the tool needs gender, birth date, health status, tobacco use, coverage amount, and years of term protection. These six items are sufficient to generate rates from carriers. Contact details like name, address, or detailed medical information are requested only if you choose to move forward with an application.

Are the monthly prices shown the price I will pay?

What you see are the premiums from each carrier for the underwriting tier you chose. The carrier will set your actual premium after their review process, which might maintain, enhance, or modify your health classification. This site presents estimated rates only; coverage is not guaranteed at the quoted price.

What happens when I click Apply?

After choosing Apply, your name is collected, and your exact quote becomes the foundation for the application, which then transfers to the carriers' application system. Pause and come back at your own pace, and you'll sign your name electronically. Susman Insurance Agency, a licensed California insurance firm (License 0B75129), administers the application.

Will I need a medical exam?

The answer depends on which company, the benefit amount, and your responses. Some carriers with Immediate coverage programs can approve right away for those who qualify; the quote interface indicates for each product whether an examination is mandatory, possible, or unnecessary.

Is a longer term better?

Coverage periods should match when income matters most: when a mortgage remains, while raising children, or during an outstanding business obligation. More years cost more each month but protect you for a longer period. Our tool lets you evaluate prices across 10, 15, 20, 25 or 30-year options from all available companies.

Does this site sell my information?

No. The quote system does not request personal contact information. We do not buy, sell, or exchange user data. Our traffic monitoring uses no cookies or external data collection. Check our privacy statement for what we measure and who sees it.
